Simpler Recycling is the name of the new set of legislation introduced to simplify and transform recycling processes across England.
By 31st March 2025, all businesses and relevant non-domestic premises with 10 or more full-time employees must separate plastic, paper and card, glass, metals (cans, tins and foil) and food waste from general waste. As well as making the recycling process easier, it aims to reduce landfill waste and tackle illegal waste activities in a bid to create a more sustainable and environmentally conscious society.
