Proudly awarded the Carbon Charter Bronze Award by the Suffolk Carbon Charter

We’re proud to announce that East Suffolk Services has been awarded the Carbon Charter Bronze Standard by the Suffolk Carbon Charter. This prestigious accolade is given to organisations that actively monitor and reduce their carbon emissions, and it’s a huge honour to see our commitment to sustainability acknowledged by such a respected body.

This achievement reflects one of our core values – Environment – and highlights our ongoing efforts to make improvements not only here in Suffolk, but across the wider planet. It also strengthens our shared commitment to supporting Suffolk’s ambition of becoming the Greenest County in the UK.

Importantly, this award isn’t just for us as an organisation. It’s also for our residents and trade customers, reaffirming that the steps we take every day are guided by a conscious dedication to environmental improvements that benefit our whole community.

We want to recognise the hard work of everyone who contributed to this success, with special thanks to Shannon Ellis, Grounds and Maintenance Support Officer, whose efforts in completing the application were key to securing this award.

While we’re delighted with this milestone, our journey doesn’t stop here. This recognition is a stepping stone – an opportunity to aim even higher. With continued teamwork and dedication, who knows…perhaps next time we’ll be celebrating the Silver Standard.
